Thole pins are cool

Cheap, easy and elegant. Nice and quiet so it's easy to listen to the beautiful music blaring from the wake boats. My favorite thing about them is the friction of the rope around the shaft of the oar doesn't let the oar slide out of position easily. If you Google thole pins images there is dozens of ways to go about thole pins.

I've rowed Charlie's elegant punt, too. Thole pins are quieter and smoother than oarlocks.
